Baby Shark Bath Toy Recall

Zuru, the maker of the Baby Shark Bath and Swimming toys, is recalling 7.5 million units after reports of children falling or sitting on the toy caused injuries including impalement and puncture wounds.

The recalled toys are the Robo Alive Junior Baby Shark Sing & Swim Bath Toys (full-size) and the Robo Alive Junior Mini Baby Shark Swimming Bath Toys (mini-size).

Consumers claimed that the tail fin on the product is defective. Zuru recommends that consumers should disable the tail fin by either cutting it off on the full-size toy or bending it on the mini-size toy.

Some of the reported injuries to children required medical attention and stitches.

Parents are encouraged to immediately stop using the recalled toys and contact Zuru for a full refund of $14 for the full-size toy and $6 for the mini-size.
