Ford Issues Major Recalls

Ford has issued two major recalls in Canada this month. The recalls effect over 80,000 vehicles dealing windshield wiper and break hose problems.

2021 Ford F-150s take the brunt of the two recalls with 51,336 effected. In a notice issued by the Canadian Government, wiper arms on some trucks may slip and not properly clear the windshield due to arm manufacturing issues.

Lincoln MKZs and Ford Fusions manufactured between 2013 and 2018 are the victims of the second recall citing front brake hose failures and break fluid leaks.

Ford states that it will notify owners of recalled vehicles by mail to take their cars to dealerships for replacement parts.
